The Helmwise AI Captain’s Cohort is a next-level leadership experience designed for Captains seeking clarity, wisdom, and practical application in the AI age. This Cohort focuses on helping leaders navigate the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence with confidence and discernment.

 

This experience is designed for Helmwise Captains and leaders responsible for guiding teams, organizations, or initiatives through complexity and change in an AI-driven world.

This Cohort is curated in coordination with The Colson Center National Conference, bringing together leading thinkers, practitioners, and Helmwise Fellows. Participants engage in roundtables, small groups, and large group sessions focused on leadership, culture, and AI integration.

Participants gain greater clarity on how to lead in the AI age, along with practical strategies for applying AI within their organization. Each participant will build a personalized AI agent prior to the event, while also developing deeper relationships with like-minded leaders. The experience continues beyond the Cohort through ongoing access to Helmwise resources and a connected community of Captains.

Yes. Each participant receives guided support prior to the Cohort to create a personal AI agent designed to improve decision-making, organization, and daily leadership effectiveness.

The Cohort takes place in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee, a city in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains known for its blend of historic character and modern energy.

This all-inclusive, invitation-only experience includes lodging and meals, as well as access to The Colson Center National Conference main stage and breakout sessions. Participants will also take part in private Helmwise roundtables and curated discussions, attend the William Wilberforce Awards Dinner, and receive one year of access to the Helmwise digital AI resource library.

Yes. This is the first Helmwise Cohort that offers the option for spouses to attend, including participation in shared meals and select conference experiences.

The Cohort experience is designed to be collaborative and engaging, combining roundtable discussions, small group sessions, and large group teaching. Participants will also engage in Q&A sessions with speakers and experts, along with optional city walks and informal networking opportunities that encourage deeper connection and conversation.

Topics focus on leadership in the AI age, including the ethical and cultural implications of artificial intelligence, AI strategy and organizational integration, and how leaders can strengthen decision-making and alignment. Participants will also explore real-world case studies and practical applications to better understand how AI can be used effectively within their organizations.

Each day includes a mix of sessions, discussions, meals, and networking opportunities. Programming runs from morning through evening, with optional activities and time for connection built in.

Yes. A detailed schedule is provided prior to the Cohort, outlining sessions, speakers, and key experiences across each day.

Participants receive one year of access to Helmwise AI resources and continue engagement through a community of Captains, including ongoing calls and discussions with peers and guest leaders.
